84 high; 42 wide. Creativity is nurtured from hardship, in this case from the arid cracks between blocks of stonework nurtured not by the mainstream but by fine droplets absorbed with difficulty. Of the green shoots that emerge, not all will bear fruit and certainly not those sustained by nourish-ment from the centre. Genius is rare and almost always emerges from unexpected sources, usually from the sidelines. The great Fountain of Life and sustenance is endless, and constantly recycles, cradling the ever-moving Earth in perfect balance. Man is less than a drop in the great motion of the sunlit sea but it seems that some of the drops sparkle. Some of the drops do sparkle. (Alan Jay Lerner, Camelot).
